
• - Lead the development of Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA or
FMEA), utilizing criteria from the automotive industry.
• - Provide engineering services and CAD designs for initial prototype parts,
assemblies, and systems including manufacturing and testing equipment
and facilities along with product flows.
• - Ensure new products meet all existing standards including SAE (Society of
Automotive Engineers), ISO (International Standards Organization),
TUV, CE, and UL (Underwriters Laboratories).
• - Supply chain management of prototype suppliers.
• - Development of prototype product testing plans and testing resources.
• - Assistance in prototype assembly.
• - Development of manufacturing plan and design.
• - Development of initial Production Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
• - Engagement with “targeted” lead customers to integrate and evaluate initial
prototype products.
• - Development of necessary technologies, testing equipment, manufacturing
equipment, and resources to achieve flawless production with a high quality product.
• - Leadership and 3rd party review of Engineering Design Reviews throughout
all phases of program.
• - Provide assistance on intellectual property development and the filing of
patents throughout all phases of the project.
• - Leadership of periodic organizational review of product business plan, customer
portfolio, and timing to ensure successful on-target and on-time product launch
throughout all phases of program to ensure maximum profitability
