Systems Solutions Engineering was started by Larry Kubes, an accomplished Mechanical Engineer with his roots as a farm kid from Nebraska. Anyone who has done any work around farming knows that this teaches people how to work hard to get results.
For 11 years in Larry’s early career, he worked in professional racing designing engine components, managing engine, chassis, and aerodynamic programs and development activities. Later is his racing career, Larry did a program and business management for the various racing and parts

programs the General Motors (GM) participates in, which include NASCAR, NHRA Drag Racing, Circle Track Racing, IMSA and SportsCar Road Racing, NHRA Drag Racing, SCORE and CORR Off-Road Truck Racing, among others. Racing reinforced the need to meet deadlines, react quickly, ability to engineer and manufacture the best products, how to develop new technologies, manage highly creative people, and how to make a business around specialty parts. While racing was a romantic place to work, the need to settle down and desire to work on future technologies brought Larry to work on Hybrid and electric vehicles and parts and military vehicles, along with a continuing interest in engines and business. This brought experience in the areas of proper manufacturing processes and high volume production.
As Larry gained more and more experience in working with various organizations and people, and seeing the need to have properly engineered parts and systems available in a timely manner, Larry saw the need for an engineering firm like Systems Solutions Engineering. Systems Solutions Engineering has surrounded itself with quality people that can engineer a variety of products, solve complex problems and set-up organizations. Systems Solutions Engineering has also equipped itself with the necessary computer design and analysis systems, along with manufacturing equipment to build prototype parts and assemblies. How many engineering companies do you know of that have engineers that can physically take an idea from art to part???
