Some electric motors utilize oil cooling. External cooling pumps are not readily available for these motors or are excessively costly. In order to have a low cost, robust system, Systems Solutions Engineering has designed cooling systems that are driven from the shaft of the motor and circulate oil through the motor. We have also designed “hybrid” cooling systems that utilize water / ethylene glycol (WEG) for stator cooling and oil for internal motor cooling and lubrication. In addition to motor cooling systems, we have designed and supplied oil pumping, filtering, and heat exchanger systems for vehicle and industrial use.
